Anti-Man. Being as he's a hard to obtain character, I know not everyone will have him available for this day, but he's by far the highest scoring character for this day still (despite the release of multiple uniforms for Black Order). With a CTP of Energy, I think he could score 1 million points, but since I don't have one on him with the newer rotation I found I'm getting about 560k with my current setup. My Anti-Man has a full awakened Power of Angry Hulk set, 3* urus, and a great obelisk (Crit damage 39%, Ignore Dodge 27%, and Increase damage 180%).
I used to use a rotation of 5c-3c-1c-4-2, hitting about 300k each time. I realized it wasn't really making use of the increase damage proc from the obelisk so after doing some experimenting, I changed it up. First rotation is 5c-1c-4-2, then 3c-5c-1c-4-2. Timing his skills can be tricky, but if you cancel the 5 after the energy tornadoes appear, you'll still get the buffs and extra damage. You also want to allow his 4 skill (beam) to play out until you're immunity from the 1 skill wears off (usually about 4 seconds left on the cooldown of the 4 skill) before using the 2 skill.
Best team for him would be using his leadership (45% energy attack) with Thanos and Ebony Maw for support. Ebony's uniform increases damage 25% against universal types (the beast) so it's helpful to have (also makes him a good character). Ironically, Thanos's Secret Wars uniform is better to equip for this - when the team up button is used Thanos does his 2 skill which on that uniform does more damage/lasts longer. If you use the team up button with Thanos, use in place of the 3 skill in the rotation (the skill Anti-Man will do if you hit it).
That being said, Corvus is still a great choice to get about 2-300k for this day. His uniform boosts his damage nicely and gives him more i-frames that help to keep the meteor bonus up. I haven't invested much in him since the uniform was released (other than buying him), so I think his potential gets much better than those numbers with an upgraded uniform, awakened ISO set, level 70, and 25 gears.
Thanos himself as the damage dealer is best with the Infinity War uniform, since his 4 and 5 overlap better for damage. Mine is still only level 60, so his damage can go way up if brought to level 70,25 gears. I also think he'll steal Anti-Man's crown when he goes T3 with the next Avengers movie. I'll be working on upgrading him once I restock my resources from my last T3.
Ebony Maw can also go over 100k with his uniform, I got about 170k in a test run with his leadership. I built him pretty offensively, but it's still not a great build.
Loki's Ragnarok uniform also puts him in a good position to do a lot of damage, probably can go to 300k himself with a good build. He's a really good option for those that don't invest a lot of crystals into uniforms or don't have the Black Order built up. Until Anti-Man was released, his Ragnarok uniform actually put him on top for score on this day so while he has fallen behind he can still deal it.
I know I didn't go into as much detail for the last few characters, mostly because I haven't used them extensively and I have invested my resources elsewhere. If anyone wants more info on these characters, I will try to play them more in this mode to get practiced with rotations to include those here as well.

So as far as I've heard, Uniformed Thanos and Dormammu are the best scoring characters for this day. I have neither so I won't go into anything on them since I don't have the experience with them. I'll be looking into the more budget options then.
Leaderships - Hela has more powerful attack leadership at 45%, Ronin and Thanos are about even at 36% attack/defense each. Thanos overall opens up more team ups as well (typically the Cabal combination with Corvus and Proxima). I just finished Ronin and have been using his since Hela is not finished yet.
So the options outside of Thanos/Dormammu that most people seem to use are either Loki or Corvus. I've tried both in XAB and I'll give you my builds and general impressions of each.
Loki needs damage in order to be a contender in my opinion. He/She has a shield built in and uses clones as distractions, but may struggle to clear the mobs quickly without added damage. My Loki has a 3* attack set and an obelisk with cold damage, crit rate, and invincibility. Loki can definitely survive the battle with his shield and with kiting, but overall I think my build would need a damage proc and better ISO set in order to score nearer 100k. I think kiting will be important since Loki tends to plant using his 4 and 2 skills, making his shield more vulnerable to meteors. Rotation something like 3-5-1-4, using 2 only when getting surrounded and kiting until the 3 is off cooldown.
Corvus is my normal go-to for this day. Gears are at 17, ISO set is 4* POAH, with an ignore defense/dodge obelisk. I've been trying to roll a better one, but RNG is keeping me down. I may be playing him wrong, but Corvus's struggle appears to be suitability. I find that he dies and I end up finishing with another character (this week was Supergiant, scoring about 83k total) and I have DDE on him in the past, but that his damage was lackluster with that set. Corvus's best obelisk would most likely be immune to guard break/damage proc and either crit rate or crit damage. The guard break would be necessary since his 5 skill can get interrupted and despite the 2 skill being a partial iframe, he is vulnerable while he is hovering while slashing flames. Mostly use 2-4-5-2, repeating 4 as necessary and sprinkling in 3 when it's safe.
