Is it possible to beat the beast in Extreme Mode??

I've gotten close a few times but he always regenerates before hitting 0. Has anyone taken the beast to 0 and if so how did you do it?? I wonder if thats how guys are getting these huge scores from....

I had him down to around 200000 and he always regenerates back. Pisses me off regardless of who I use. I had Thanos in his new uniform with beam skill and he would knock him down fast to around 200000 and the bastard regenerates to full strength. :/

The beast will regenerate every time. This mode is basically meant as an endless wave time battle and it was probably easier to code or runs smoother this way. Or something. But he's unkillable

That's what I figured. I hate the combat mode because the snare when he hits you is constant and hard to get out of. Unless you do an iframe with wolverine to get out of, but dodging it seems impossible.
